Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate (HEMARAJ EIE) is located in Map Ta Phut, Rayong Province, adjacent to the National Petrochemical Complex and 155 kilometers southeast of Bangkok. The location is ideal being adjacent to the Map Ta Phut Petrochemical complex and Map Ta Phut Deep Sea Port, which is the liquid cargo port of Thailand. The Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate is an ideal location for petrochemical, chemical, steel and utility intensive customers requiring power, steam, clarified water or waste water treatment.
The total area is 3,113 rai (1,245 acres). The Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate offers grand fathered Board of Investment Zone III incentives and at a higher privilege than companies outside of industrial estates. Over 39 customers have invested over USD 5 billion here.
Eastern Pipeline Services, a 100% subsidiary Hemaraj company, provides pipe rack rental to support interconnected chemical feedstock, industrial gas, steam and other needs. Glow SPP1, a 125 MVA cogeneration power plant at HEMARAJ EIE , supplies electricity and steam to industrial customers. PTT Utility 75 MVA, also provides electricity and steam. Comprehensive industrial infrastructure includes communications, raw potable or clarified water, wastewater treatment and solid soil bearing capacity. Hemaraj manages the industrial estate operations and various water utilities provided of approximately 100,000 cubic meters per day.
